Request for vital records
You can request a copy of a birth, death or marriage certificate. The cost of a vital record is $15.00 each additional record on that day is $6.00 Proof of ID is required.
Marriage Information
To obtain a Marriage License one or both of you must live in Mexico.

Both bride and groom must sign all forms in the presence of Town clerk and/or a notary.

No waiting period Fee is $40 and the license is valid for 90 days.

If you have been married before please provide divorce papers with original signature (or notarized copy) or death certificate of last spouse.
Application for Maine homestead property tax exemption form
Completed forms must be filed with your local assessor by April 1st. Forms filed after April 1st of any year will apply to the subsequent years tax assessment.
Application for Maine veteran property tax exemption
If you are a Maine resident and a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces, you may be eligible for a limited exemption from property tax on real estate or personal property. Please view the attached form for eligibility. Fill out form and return to assessors office on or before April 1st.
